Privacy policy

This policy explains what data Arkieus handles when it runs in your Discord server and when you use the website at arkieus.xyz.

What the bot handles

• Messages. Arkieus reads messages in servers where it is added so it can run commands and calculate anti-raid heat. Message content is processed in memory and is not stored.
• Heat values. Per-user heat counters and recent message IDs are kept in memory for about a minute so Arkieus can delete a burst of spam. They are lost when the bot restarts.
• Server settings. Protection toggles, prefixes, the log channel ID, anti-raid settings and the whitelist (Discord user IDs) are stored for each server.
• Moderation records. Warnings are stored with the warned user's ID, the moderator's ID, the reason and the time. Lockdown state is stored while a lockdown is active.

What the website handles

• When you sign in, Discord shares your user ID, display name, avatar and the list of servers you are in (the identify and guilds scopes). Arkieus keeps your user ID, display name, avatar link and the servers you manage in memory for up to seven days. The Discord access token is used once during sign-in and is not stored.
• The site sets two cookies: a session cookie that keeps you signed in, and a short-lived cookie used during sign-in. There are no analytics or advertising cookies.
• The site uses Google Fonts, so your browser requests font files from Google.

How data is used and shared

Data is used only to run Arkieus. It is not sold or shared for advertising. It is stored with the services that host Arkieus, such as the database and server hosts, and it passes through Discord as part of normal bot operation.

Keeping and deleting data

Server data is kept until it is deleted. To have a server's data removed, contact us through the support page. Moderators can also remove whitelist entries and reset anti-raid settings from the dashboard.

Children

Arkieus is a Discord bot and follows Discord's minimum age requirements. It is not directed at children.
